A.G.E.E.R.A. is a non-profit association created by Decree 1192/92 on July 29, 1992 composed by most of the power generation companies of Argentina.

A.G.E.E.R.A. owns 20% of the stock in CAMMESA, the Electricity Market Administration Company.

The same proportion in CAMMESA is also owned by the Distribution Companies´Association, the Major User´s Association, the Electricity Transportation Companies´Association, and the National Government.

A.G.E.E.R.A. fosters the adequate operation and transparency of the electricity market, with price and legal security signals to guarantee and assure all users of Argentina a quality service in the supply of electricity in the short and long term.
